*333, Option 2 you can add money to the account (after the Spanish announcement you will hear it in English). To add
money you buy a top up card at the stores. There is a business card on the coffee table from the cellular store where you
can get cards. It is on Insurgentes near the Guadalajara Pharmacy.
TAXIS: To call a taxi, dial 223-2806 or 225-0716. Give them the Colonia: Las Canoas; the street and number and the
apartment number (they usually give you the taxi NUMBER which will pick you up). They normally come very fast, and it is
wise to go out right away and watch for it. They may leave again if you don’t go out in time.
WATER: You only drink the bottled water. It comes in 19 Liter bottles. Water delivery to the complex is on
Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday around 3 PM. You can also buy it any time from Eulalia, who daily takes out the garbage and
cleans our outside sitting area. She lives in the first door to the left when you face the outside street gate.
HEALTH: There is a chemical, MYCRODYN, to protect you from the possible bacterial stomach infection. You buy
it at Rizo’s Market or a Pharmacia. Anything you don’t peel or cook, such as lettuces, strawberries, grapes, radishes etc. you
soak for 10 minutes in this solution of 8 drops per liter of tap water.
MAID SERVICE: Cleaning and change of the linens and towels is once a week. The laundry is for two people. For three or
more people it is an extra $ 15. If you have friends or family visiting with you during your stay, you pay the extra laundry
service directly to the maid. You can arrange with Leo which day you want it. If you wish additional days you can arrange it
with the manager, Leo Tejeda when you meet him upon arrival. The maid service cost is Pesos 150 or US$ 15 per visit.
LEO TEJEDA: He is my apartment manager. Leo will meet you at the apartment upon arrival to give you the keys, the

arrival please advise Leo, so that he is not waiting at the apartment for you in vain. Thank you.

AIR CONDITIONING: You can enjoy the comfort of air conditioning when needed. From May to Oct. a Utility Deposit of
US$50/week or US$150/month may be applicable. Based on the electricity bill the unused amount is refundable (av.
monthly bill is $20). Conserve by turning it off when you are out and close doors and windows when using it, and don’t run
all day. The ceiling fans provide a lot of comfort too. Thank you.
HOUSE KEYS: When you close the front door, it is automatically locked. So please remember to leave it open when you
just step out or sit outside, or always have the keys on you.
LAUNDRY: The laundry in the house is on the roof garden (4th floor). You may use it even though the sign says “for
Owners Only”. Ignore it. However it is very inexpensive to give laundry out for wash and fold, about US$ 0.60 per kilo.
PUBLIC
BUSES: The Public Transportation System is excellent and the service very frequent Up on the Libramiento Freeway
you can take the buses going to the Hotels, Walmart, Sams, the airport and other outlying areas north of Vallarta. By the
Rio Cuale bridge on Lazareo Cardenas you catch the downtown buses. Coming from home, if you wait before you cross the
bridge and take the BUS 04 towards the ocean, it will let you off one block from Olas Altas Beach.
ON FOOT: Your most direct route is across the bridge and down Lazaro Cardenas. However on Naranjo or Jacarandas
Street you can turn left to go over to the river, cross the hanging bridge and walk on the Island down to the beach or to
Malecon/Downtown.
ROOF GARDEN: Offers you a great place for relaxing and sun bathing if you don’t want to go to far. You can cool off in the
Dipping Pool or hang out while you do your laundry. It is also very comfortable as you have almost always a wonderful brise
up there, even on very hot days.
PETS: Due to the Mexican Condominium Association Law, pets are not allowed in Condominium complexes. In order
to avoid possible litigations, we need to regretfully adhere to these rules.
DIRECTIONS
FROM AIRPORT: Tell the Taxi Driver to go to Las Canoas, via the Libriamento. After the tunnel and passing the Egyptian
Restaurant at the second curve you come to a traffic light. Turn left (izquierda), the next street turn right (derecha) and than
it is the first street on your right: Primavera 116, the third house in on the right hand side.
I HOPE YOU WILL ENJOY OUR HOME AND HONOR THE LOVE WE HAVE PUT IN IT, TO MAKE IT COMFORTABLE FOR
YOU. HAVE A GREAT TIME.
